A solid setting for a new series that will keep you turning those pages. You can tell the author knows her stuff and has clearly done her research. The Missing Activist was a different kind of crime thriller for me that made for an engrossing, informative read. The author of course doesn’t give to much away and it wasn’t until Karen had it all figured out that I had any inkling of who was behind what. Using her investigative skills and her process of elimination. Karen’s job isn’t an easy one and I enjoyed getting to see how she works. It’s a steady read that picks up pace as it heads towards the story’s climax. Whilst we do get to know Karen, the story brings to light a variety of topics ranging from bullying to of course, terrorist attacks.
